What we are going to do this term

The following presentation shows what we are going to do during the second term

October 2020

This month we are going to start knowing more about physical conditioning.

The main components of physical conditioning are endurance, flexibility, strength and speed. Let´s know more about each of them:

Endurance

Endurance is defined as the capacity to keep going with prolonged low-intensity physical activities and delaying the onset of fatigue.

Strength

Strength is the maximum force a muscle or a group of muscles together can generate against some form of resistance.

Flexibility

Flexibility is the ability to move without restriction during a normal range of movement

Speed

The time it takes to coordinate a specific movement of individual joints, or the body as a whole is referred to as speed.  Speed is also defined as the ability to accelerate and move quickly across short distances.
