What we are going to do this term
The following presentation shows what we are going to do during the second term
October 2020
This month we are going to start knowing more about physical conditioning.
The main components of physical conditioning are endurance, flexibility, strength and speed. Let´s know more about each of them:
Endurance
Endurance is defined as the capacity to keep going with prolonged low-intensity physical activities and delaying the onset of fatigue.
Strength
Strength is the maximum force a muscle or a group of muscles together can generate against some form of resistance.
Flexibility
Flexibility is the ability to move without restriction during a normal range of movement
Speed
The time it takes to coordinate a specific movement of individual joints, or the body as a whole is referred to as speed. Speed is also defined as the ability to accelerate and move quickly across short distances.
